SUBM Bass PreAmp - Pending Verification

SUBM BASS PREAMP

- added FET buffer. Optional to build buffered or non buffered version.

This creature will "smootherns and sweeterns the tone to give a fat and clear bass tone. It give fair amount of gain to your line level input"....you know what is this if you are a keen bass player. :)

BW_CAC - Build Verified.

BW_CAC
CAC for CRANKED AC30. This is for you if you are Brian May's fan. :)
This guy can cover light overdrive to near fuzz when cranked.
Very dynamic. You control the muddiness with your own pick strength.

The layout was verified and it is AWESOME!!!!.

Foxk Fuzz DLX 3.5 - Pending Verification

Folk Fuzz Deluxe 3.5
Transistors are layout as what delivered: -
T1~ T3 = 2n2219A CAN package (T1,2 = 2n1306 ; T3 = 2n2219A on the schematic)
T4 = 2n2905 (To-92 package as delivered, Can / TO-92 can be used in with this layout).
D2, D3 are 2n914
D4, D5 are 1n4001
D2,D3 & D4,D5 are selectable clipper thru SPDT switch.

Fuzz knobs is B1M, preferably C1M according to the Bjorn.
Tone is A50K, Volume is B100K.

Supe6 - Pending Verification

Supe6 is the famous BLACKFACE on magical "6"
Extra clue: It has INTENSE, TONE and VOLUME.
LOL: What is this pedal? Pretty obvious by now right?

5V1 is a ZENER DIODE for MOSFET protection.
The diode next to 9V is a double blade sword...polarity protection and a bit voltage sag.
The E-Caps below 2M2 is 47uF, the value get hide a bit on the layout.
Square pad for LED denoted Anode pin.
Extra slot allocated for bigger 104 mylar cap.

Trembo Tremolo - Pending Verification

Trembo Tremolo - Pending Tremolo.
JMP = JUMPER WIRE
VTL5C1 = optical isolator.
Control is KNOB and RATE.
Trimmer is to adjust the OPTICAL LED intensity.
LED beside trimmer is on-off indicator, connected to LFO to blink according to the LFO rate.
Familiar eh....pm me to know which TREMOLO this is modelled after.

Transformer-less DI Box - Pending Verification

Transformer-less DI-BOX
This box operate with 18v but i think can work with less voltage.
I create this to use with YAHAMA EMX5000 PA system to try a simple recording.
XLR is the balance output to be connect with XLR socket.
The square pad is the first pin, middle being the pin 2 and the last round pad is the pin 3.
SPK/LINE is the selector to switch LINE output or SPEAKER output.
Can be modded to operate in PHANTOM power mode.

Env Filter - Pending Verification

Plush Envelope Filter
All Diodes are 1n914 or equivalent.
All film caps have 5mm pitch.
OP AMP type is not critical. Any dual OP-AMP will work great.
SPDT is to change the sweep UP or DN; UP has very little effects.

Elley Mammoth for Bass

Elley Mammoth (Bass Fuzz)
Transistor is 2N5089. Pins compatible with 2n5088.
2M2 Resistor and the 100uF (Power Filter Caps) above 20k Resistor is not in the schematic.
They were added for stomp pop elimination if needed and caps is for better power filtering.

D'Queen Treble Booster - Pending Verification

D'Queen Treble Booster.
Size of Board: 37mm Width x 3mm Height (1590B Box okay!)
B2K can be omitted if the gain control is not needed. Use 2k4 ohm in this case.
If B2K is used, use a smaller resistor here. 470R is a starting point.

6k8 to 10k resisstor can be used in the the third resistor from right in bottom row.

Use 2k2 resistor in the last resistor from right in bottom row if the Super Bright Resistor is used.

MAC - Verified

MAC for MATCH-AC (1590B Okay!)

This is a MATCHLESS / AC30 Emulation.
If you are familiar with OLC MATCHLESS, this is the stripe down version of it.
Tone selection section is striped.
The trace at bottom left of PCB is quite tight. Becareful to avoid solder bridge.
Q1 is MOSFET, BS170 or 2N7000.
Q2 and Q3 are JFET, J201.

SunShine Liquid Overdrive - Pending Verification

SunShine Liquid Overdrive (1590B Okay!)
This is build from the scaleton of the original pedal. You'll not get 100% clone from this.
It is an breakup type overdrive.
Gain1 and Gain2 is very interactive to each other.
Transistors are JFET, 2N5458 works best. J201 might need larget trimmer to bias it right.
C10/C11 /C12 are not in the original. It was added for possible tweaking.
VR2/VR3 need to tweak to half of supply voltage or tunning by ear.

DynaRed Distortion - Build Verified.

DynaRed distortion. (1590B Okay).
Dp is polarity protection diode.
IC is CA3130EZ from internsil.
2 LEDs at the top left corner are CLIPPER. Use red LED there.

Silicon Fuxx Face - Build Verified.

Size of Board: 45mm Width x 29mm Height (1590B Box Okay!)
This layout is to build Fuzz Face with Silicon NPN with center negative (standard boss) power.
Germanium NPN version can be build with some value adjustment.
Trimmer is to adjust the bias of the 2nd transistors to your taste.
Hfe for Q1 should be 70~90
Hfe for Q1 should be 90~130
Well...some like to have equal gain but i felt this range give the best oldies feel.
Socket that transistor to experiment with different transistor to find your base.

ARC Booster - Build Verified

Size of Board: 52mm WIDE x 41mm HEIGHT (1590B Box Ok!)

The slashed part are changes needed to build RC.

For AC, use 2 diodes in RV and 1 in FW clipper group.
For RC, use 3 diodes in both RV and FW clipper group.

Transistor in the original unit is 2SC1815 (view from top, left to right = ECB)

GSR - build verified

Size of Board: 55mm WIDE x 33 mm HEIGHT (1590B Okay!)
Use BAT41 for Dfor1 and Drev.
Dfor 2 is Germanium Diode, 1n34.

Tone control is actually B100k.
SF Resistor (Below the switch, beside the 2k2 resistor) are actually 6K2 OHMS.
Use OPA2604 or TLC2262. AD712 is another accident...accidentally cloned from ZDRIVE.

3 pads between the 2N7000 MOSFET are the HARD / SOFT Switch.
